13 weeks and 3 months

Caroline turned 13 weeks old on Tuesday and 3 months old on Wednesday, I think. It's weird because she was born on the 31st..so on months that don't have 31 days, is she another month older on the 30th or the 1st of the next month?

We made a trip to the pediatrician yesterday because she's been spitting up A LOT lately. Her daycare was concerned that she possibly had reflux and might need to switch formulas. Based on our description of her symptoms, her pediatrician wasn't concerned and doesn't feel like she has it bad enough to warrant any kind of treatment or switching of formula. She said we'll discuss starting rice cereal at her 4 month appointment, which should help with the spitting up. I guess a bonus about going to the pedi's office yesterday is that we got to have her weighed. She's 13lbs 4oz.

I packed up most of her 0-3 onesies and pjs and she's moved on to 3-6 month clothes. We're using the last of her size 1 diapers and will probably move up to size 1-2 or 2 when the 1s are gone. We're looking forward to a fun 4th of July weekend with family. Caroline's going to make her first trip to the Texas Capitol and we're taking her to her first fireworks show.

12 weeks..

I guess my timing is a little better on this one because Caroline won't be 13 weeks until Tuesday. Here are some pictures from this week.

We bought her a jumper and she loves it. It's still a little big for her but she'll be able to use it for a while.

She got to meet Kadence, the daughter of some friends of ours that was born 6 weeks after Caroline. Hopefully they will become the best of friends.

I'm still a week behind in posting because Caroline is actually 12 weeks today.

10 weeks and first trip to the river..

I'm a week behind on posting because Caroline is actually 11 weeks old today. Caroline got to join us on our annual trip to the Guadalupe River. My dad's family and family friends have been camping on River Road in New Braunfels for over 25 years. It was hot this weekend so we decided not to attempt to tent camp. Caroline did really well..even in the heat. She napped most of the day with about 4 fans pointed at her.
