First day home..

We got to go home on April 1st as long as we promised to take Caroline to her pediatrician's office the next morning. The doctor that saw her in the hospital was worried about her biliruben (sp?) levels. They were fine the day we left but they were concerned that they might go up the next day.

Caroline Elizabeth was born on March 31, 2009 at 1:43am. She weighed 7lbs 12oz and was 21 inches long. Here are some pictures of her birth day through going home.

Here's the nursery furniture and bedding. The furniture is the Cottage collection from JCP and the bedding is CoCaLo A La Mode.

We hired Southern Painting to paint stripes in the room and Mario and I installed the chair rail.

We bought the glider and ottoman from Babies R Us.

I'm Back..

I have been a huge slacker when it comes to blogging! Here's what's been going on..I found out I was pregnant on 8/8/08 and that's pretty much when I stopped blogging. I stopped mostly because I was so tired throughout the pregnancy. We found out on 12/2/08 that the baby was going to be a Caroline and not an Andrew. Things moved right along and we spent a lot of time preparing for little Caroline to enter our lives on or around 4/21/09. After measuring three weeks ahead for the last few months, she decided to make an early appearance on 3/31/09. After a brief stint in the NICU for jaundice, we are home and settled into our new family life.

I think I'll do seperate posts with a bunch of pictures to get you up to date.
