Water Baby..

It's already starting to get hot here in Central Texas and we love to be outside..we try to spend as much time outside as possible. We spend at least 2 hours outside every weekday evening. To beat the heat, we've been spending lots of time playing in the water.

This weekend we decided we wanted to take Caroline somewhere age-appropriate to play in the water. We thought about going to the water park at Sea World or Fiesta Texas..we also researched Splash Town, Schlitterbahn, and Volente Beach. They all seemed pretty cool, but are all pretty pricey..especially because we didn't know how Caroline would like the cold water. While reading reviews, I saw one that recommended Rock N River Family Aquatic Center in Round Rock. It looked perfect and was only $5.50 for each adult. It was definitely worth the drive! Caroline had a blast. She was sooo tired, but kept refusing to nap because she wanted to keep playing. She (and Mario) finally took a quick nap after we had been there for 4 hours. We will definitely have to go back..though I have heard it can get pretty crowded.
