My first week back on track with my eating and working out was successful. I tracked my calories every day and stayed right around 1200, plus whatever I earned from working out.
I walked five days last week..mostly around the neighborhood, up and down every street, which is about 3 miles. Yesterday we went to the kite festival and walked about 2 miles.
I had a question in my comments last week about when I weigh myself. I actually weigh-in every morning, first thing in the morning (before getting dressed or anything). The only weigh-in that "counts" is the Monday morning one. I'm excited and motivated because I lost 3.8 lbs this week!
Current weight: 192
Weight lost this week: 3.8 pounds
Total weight lost: 3.8 pounds (still about 9 pounds from where I was a few months ago)

That is exactly how I weigh myself too..every single day..but I only count Mondays :)

Side note - we took our 21 month old son to the zoo on Saturday morning and I actually saw you guys on the same train (but obviously didn't say anything). And then we were also at the kite festival on Sunday(didn't see you though). Small world!

YAY! So proud of you! 3.8 is GREAT in a week! Wahoo! Thanks for the info on the scale, I am the smallest in the morning so I shall go with that :) ha
